About this coloring page
A printable color-by-number mystery picture worksheet with a hidden cat picture. Color each square using the number key to reveal it. Big squares and a short color key make it a good first color-by-number page. Orange, purple, black and lime green make a classic Halloween palette.
This page by the numbers
The picture has 143 numbered squares on a 13 x 11 grid, colored with 5 crayon colors. Gray (number 1) fills the most squares: 95 of them. Pink (number 5) is used the least, with 3.
- 1 = gray: 95 squares
- 2 = green: 6 squares
- 3 = black: 4 squares
- 4 = yellow: 35 squares
- 5 = pink: 3 squares
Coloring ideas
- Color the sky dark blue for a night scene.
- Try a ginger tabby, a black cat or a calico.
- Color the inside of the ears pink.
- Color one number at a time: find all the 1s, then all the 2s, and so on.
