How to Draw a Pumpkin: step-by-step instructions
The new lines in each step are shown in red.
-

Step 1
Start with a tall oval in the middle. This is the front segment of the pumpkin.
-

Step 2
Add a curved segment on each side of the oval. Let them peek out from behind it.
-

Step 3
Add two more segments on the outside to make your pumpkin round and plump.
-

Step 4
Draw a short, slightly bent stem on top.
-

Step 5
Add a curly vine and a leaf next to the stem.
-

Step 6
Give your pumpkin a face! Draw triangle eyes, a triangle nose and a zigzag smile to turn it into a jack-o'-lantern.
-

Now color it!
Color the pumpkin orange and the stem and leaf green. Leave the inside of the curly vine white. The eyes, nose and mouth stay black, or color them yellow like a glowing candle.
