About this coloring page
Here you get four bats hanging upside down from the stalactites of a cave, three fast asleep and one awake, while a friend flies out under the moon. Every page in this set is a different drawing. There is plenty to color here, which makes it a good longer project. A deep blue night sky makes the bats stand out.
Coloring ideas
- Color the bats black or purple and make the moon a glowing yellow.
- Orange, purple, black and lime green make a classic Halloween palette.
- Leave a few spots white, like moon highlights and ghost bodies, so the dark colors pop.
- Color the night sky last with a dark blue or purple crayon pressed lightly, then go over it again for depth.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
