About this coloring page

A simple, kid-friendly mandala with 12-fold symmetry and 3 rings of layered lotus petals, zigzag stars and wheel spokes. Big, open spaces and thick lines make it a great pick for preschoolers and kindergartners. Pick three to five colors and repeat them in each ring.

Coloring ideas

Try warm colors in the center and cool colors outside.
Work from the center outward so your hand does not smudge finished parts.
Use colored pencils for small spaces and markers for big ones.

Printing tips

Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
