About this worksheet
A free printable diamond tracing worksheet: trace a big dashed diamond from the green start dot, see a kite that has the same shape, trace a row of diamonds that fade from dashes to dots, then draw diamonds on your own. For preschool and pre-K. It suits ages 4 to 6, and little ones can count the pictures with a finger.
On this sheet
draw your own diamonds. A kite is a diamond. Trace the diamonds. Trace the little diamonds.
Tips for using it
- Sit at a table with feet flat on the floor; good posture makes tracing much easier for little hands.
- Let your child trace the line with a finger first, then with a crayon.
- Praise staying close to the line, not perfection: wobbly is normal at this age.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
