Tips for coloring Truck
- Color fire trucks bright red with silver or gray for the ladder, and add yellow stripes for the reflective tape.
- Leave a small white spot on each hubcap and on the windshield so the truck looks shiny and freshly washed.
- Use one color for the cab and a different one for the cargo part, so the shape of each truck is easy to see.
Fun facts about Truck
- A dump truck lifts the front of its bed with a hydraulic cylinder, so the load slides out the back.
- A cement mixer keeps its drum turning on the way to the job so the concrete does not harden before it is poured.
- Tow trucks use a strong winch and either a boom or a flat bed to haul broken-down cars to a repair shop.
Fun ways to use your printables
- Make a truck parade: color several pages, cut out the trucks and line them up across a wall like a convoy.
- Talk about the trucks you see on your street this week, then color the one that came by most recently.
- Use the garbage truck page to talk about recycling, then sort a few clean cans and boxes at home together.
