About this worksheet
Nine color words (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown and black) to trace, each next to a crayon in that color, with a start-dot copy to write on your own. It suits ages 4 to 6, and little ones can count the pictures with a finger.
Tips for using it
- Check the grip first: pencil held between thumb and pointer finger, resting on the middle finger.
- Leave a finger space between words; let your child lay a finger on the line after each word.
- Short, daily practice beats long sessions; stop while it is still fun.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
