About this worksheet
Fill in the missing capital letters: first the alphabet A to Z in four rows with gaps, then twelve short letter runs where the gap is before, between or after. Answer key on page 2. It suits ages 4 to 6, and little ones can count the pictures with a finger.
Tips for using it
- Say the letter name and its sound out loud each time your child traces it: "B, buh, ball".
- Trace the big letter with a finger first, then a crayon, then a pencil, so the movement is learned before neatness counts.
- Praise good starts: if the pencil begins on the green dot and follows the arrow, the letter is right even if it wobbles.
Printing tips
Download the PDF and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). Page 1 is the worksheet and page 2 is the answer key with the answers in red; print just page 1 if you want to keep the answers for checking. The PNG shows page 1 only. Free for personal, family and classroom use.
