On this sheet
Lily got a red kite for her birthday. On Saturday, she took it to the park with her big brother, Jack. The wind was strong, and the kite flew up high. Then a big gust pulled the string out of Lily's hand! The kite landed at the top of a tall tree. Lily was sad. A park worker saw them and brought a long ladder. He climbed up and got the kite down. "Thank you!" said Lily. This time, she held the string tight.
