About this worksheet
Six pairs of rhyming pictures to match with a line: cat and hat, bee and tree, dog and log, mouse and house, cake and snake, moon and spoon. A first rhyming worksheet for preschoolers who cannot read yet. It is made for pre-K, roughly ages 4 to 5: big letters, a picture clue and lots of coloring.
Tips for using it
- Name each picture together first so your child uses the same words as the page.
- On the yes or no page, say the pair twice: once normally, once stretching the ending.
- Read the finished rhymes on the Finish the Rhyme page with a bouncy rhythm.
Printing tips
Download the PDF and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). Page 1 is the worksheet and page 2 is the answer key with the answers in red; print just page 1 if you want to keep the answers for checking. The PNG shows page 1 only. Free for personal, family and classroom use.
