About this worksheet

Printable Pre-Primer Dolch sight word flash cards, set 2 of 4: 10 cards from "funny" to "little" in big manuscript letters with a red corner mark for the Pre-Primer list, plus 2 blank cards for new words. A grown-up can read the short directions aloud while the child does the reading of the word itself.

Tips for using it

Print the cards on card stock, or laminate them, so they survive many rounds.
Store each list in its own zip bag or on a ring, and add a new word only when the stack is mostly known.
Flash a card for one or two seconds: sight words are about instant recognition, not sounding out.
Use the blank cards for your child's name and words from a favorite book.

Printing tips

Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
