About this worksheet
Three short cursive sentences to trace (I can write in cursive. Cursive letters hold hands. My pencil never stops.), each followed by an empty handwriting line to copy it. Third graders can use it for practice, review or a quick check before a test.
Tips for using it
- Practice the small letters before the capitals, and the letters with the same start stroke together (a, c, d, g, o, q).
- Slant the paper a little, the same way the letters lean, so the pencil moves comfortably.
- Say "up, over, down" out loud while tracing: talking through the stroke helps the movement stick.
Printing tips
Download the PDF for the sharpest result and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). The PNG is 300 DPI, which is handy for tablets and coloring apps. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
