About this puzzle
A free printable picture word search: fruit for kids: 6 words hidden across and down in a 8 by 8 grid, from apple to banana. Little ones can do most of it with crayons, and a grown-up can read the short questions aloud.
Tips for using it
- Start with words that have rare letters (K, V, W, Y): they are easier to spot than words full of E and A.
- Slide a ruler or a strip of paper down the grid to read one row at a time.
- Use a highlighter or a crayon instead of circling: the words stay readable and the page looks great on the fridge.
- For the hard puzzles, check all eight directions around the first letter before moving on.
