About this worksheet
Twelve chocolate chip cookies, each with a times table fact baked in (7 x 6, 8 x 4, 9 x 3) and an icing box for the product. The facts are drawn from the 2 to 9 times tables, no two alike, so the page works as a quick multiplication check before the holiday break. Answer key on page 2. Third graders can use it for practice, review or a quick check before a test. Red, green and gold make a classic Christmas palette.
On this sheet
12 problems, starting with 3 x 4, 7 x 4, 4 x 3, 8 x 8, 2 x 8, 4 x 7, 8 x 4, 6 x 7, 4 x 5, 4 x 6, 7 x 2, 7 x 6. The answers to all of them are on page 2.
Tips for using it
- Circle the facts that took longest and practice just those tomorrow.
- Skip-count out loud to check any fact you are not sure about.
- Add white for snow.
- Make a three-page packet per child: one word search, one maze and one math or reading page at their level. It fills a quiet 20 minutes.
Printing tips
Download the PDF and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). Page 1 is the worksheet and page 2 is the answer key with the answers in red; print just page 1 if you want to keep the answers for checking. Free for personal, family and classroom use.
