About this worksheet
Five Christmas sentences built from Dolch sight words (see, big, for, you, go, look, little, here, me) to trace in dashed manuscript letters on handwriting lines, with an empty line under each to write it again. A picture goes with every sentence (a tree, a Santa hat, a sled, a star, a gift) to color when the writing is done. No answer key is needed. Big pictures and only a few tasks per page make it a gentle start for kindergartners. Add white for snow.
Tips for using it
- Red, green and gold make a classic Christmas palette.
- Make a three-page packet per child: one word search, one maze and one math or reading page at their level. It fills a quiet 20 minutes.
- Print the answer keys once and keep them in a folder; the kids can check their own word searches and mazes.
- For a mixed-age family, give everyone the same theme at a different level: the picture word search for the 5-year-old, the Christmas Challenge word search for the 9-year-old.
Printing tips
Download the PDF and print at 100% (or “fit to page” on A4). It is a vector file, so the lines stay sharp on any printer. This page is free for personal, family and classroom use.
