About this game
The left half of the tree is printed in black with a half star on top, three tiers of branches, round ornaments and a trunk, and the right half is the same outline in light gray dots along a dashed center line. Under it are three numbered prompt cards with done circles: hang more ornaments and a string of lights, draw presents under the tree, add falling snow and a snowman next to it. Preschoolers trace the dots, then decorate freely; kindergartners can make the ornaments match on both sides. About fifteen minutes. Page 2 shows a finished tree. The footer suggests drawing half a tree on a whiteboard for the child to finish.
Tips for using it
- Trace the zigzag branches from the top tier down.
- Put an ornament on the right side for every one on the left.
- Draw a string of lights that loops across both halves.
- Color the finished tree and hang the page on the fridge through December.
